Right before she left WWE, Mandy had a poolside pose with a couple of championship belts. That's what I was thinking of. I did not recall the Stacy picture.

None of them are really great surprises, though Indi has at least been used somewhat often with Candice. She never got to do much in the ring, other than the token women's tag title shots, but her character work with the Gargano bunch was always great.

You can't say they didn't give Corbin opportunities. He just never quite connected no matter what he did. At this point I'm sure both sides were ready to break up.
I doubt he'll get a shot with AEW. He could probably do well with a reboot in TNA, and with his name recognition I'm sure he'll kill it on the indies.

I never thought I would say this after all the Constable Corbin crap (him being the one to retire Angle ... UGH), but I actually enjoyed his recent run in NXT. He was almost reborn doing that tag deal with Bron Breakker and showing some actual character, but was drawing cobwebs since coming back up.

I thought he could have been a good solid uppercarder, but they never gave him the big run to get him to that level.

When they were doing the “bum-ass” Corbin gimmick, I thought they could have used that to make him a sympathetic babyface who finally gets some luck and starts putting it all together; yet they kept him heel.

It’s too bad, but hopefully, he saved his money from this run and, like you said, do well on the indies. Maybe he can get a good run in Japan.

OK, this was funny. Especially since Pretty Deadly are basically just the wrestling versions of Hamilton's King George.

I think we'll still see some friction and doubt until the unit comes together for Survivor Series -- probably with help of a certain wise man.

Meanwhile, the women's tag match got a lot of love, which is saying a lot for how these stupid Saudi shows started. Lash Legend is a beast (in a good way) and has a bright future. Still marvel at when she body slammed Otis during an NXT show.

Nice touch by Johnny and Candice, leaving a tribute to Indi at the end of their weekly vlog. I know the news had to have hit them especially hard.
