The hope was she'd be under 5. Maybe close to 3.

    Leading is unfathomable.

Credit to Selzer for publishing a huge outlier and narrative shifting poll when everyone else is herding like mad.

I’m not willing to say it’s huge yet. It seems way too good to be true. Worth looking at, though.
I’d trade this for a 3-point lead in Wisconsin.

Could be the Register trying to light a fire under the asses of Trumpers.

That's thing -- even if Selzer is off by a few points and Trump still wins Iowa, it won't be by a huge amount. Which bodes well for other similar states like Wisconsin.

Trump won Iowa by 9% in 2020. If he's down to 3-5%, that's still horrible news for him and a boon for Harris in the battlegrounds.

Ann Selzer doesn't bend for anyone. She'd run an unsponsored poll before fixing the numbers for the Des Moines Register.

Seriously, there is a reason everyone waits for this poll every cycle. She is the standard bearer.

Meanwhile, Kamala is making a last minute stop in New York for SNL.

It does seem to line up with the overall trend over the last few weeks, and as voting has gotten under way. The break seems to be going toward Harris.

I don't know who will win, but I think Team Harris is in a better position from what we know so far.

Big Harrison Ford fan. With the caveat that celeb endorsements likely don't mean a ton, the spots he did are very well done. Particularly this one, talking about how many, many people who served high up in his own administration are saying he's unfit and a disaster.
