Bingo. Even if Selzer misses by as much as she did in the 2018 governor race - and state races are different than federal ones - then that means Trump only wins Iowa by 2%. Which would mean he's cooked nationally.

Noted: Obama won Iowa and Indiana in 2008.

Obama winning Indiana remains one of the most stunning things I've seen in politics.

Guessing the turnout in Gary was huge and important.

Yes ... as those states are tantamount to sheep ... bleat, bleat. Sheesh.

It's not that Liut. But if the poll's finding that women are voting for Harris by a 20 point margin is close to accurate, she's gonna win plenty of other states.

These results for six of seven results being within a small margin of error is quite incredible. But 2018 does force a bit of a pause. Is this a weird outlier or a harbinger of things to come in the Big 3 and emergence?

I'm not trying to throw water on the fire here but a couple of things ...

    1. Selzer's misses seem to be a Republican undercount, slight but historically significant.
    2. Harris 47, Trump 44 and Kennedy voters account for 3 percent, which still only adds to 94 percent. Where's the other 6 percent?

It's still a really good indicator for the Democrats that Harris could be outperforming Biden's numbers with white women, especially in swing states because it's usually so accurate.

With all due respect, Michael, my limited faith in polling went out the window in 2016.
    But gotta make the $$$.
