For what it's worth - not much - I think Harris will win the popular vote.

Women vote more than men, more women will vote for her this time and she'll roll up her total in deep blue and deep red states (while, of course, still losing the latter.)

 

I'm not sure Newsome would have worked as a VP candidate. He wouldn't have been able to receive California's 50-something electoral votes. The VP election then gets thrown into the Senate, which will probably be in Trumpist hands -- even with the one-state, one-vote provision. They pick Trump, who conspires with the Secret Service to have Harris murdered on Jan. 20 and we're screwed.

No surprise, but Kamala killed it on her SNL appearance. And that applause was massive.

It was the same "mirror image" bit they did with Ariana Grande/Jennifer Coolidge a few weeks ago (and many other times before), but Kamala was so natural up there.

 

I've been sayin' this since the seamless transition from Uncle Joe, and especially after the debate. The antics of the last few days, the fellatio of the microphone, the overt threats toward Liz Cheney, the chickenshit approach to interviews, the reluctance of high-profile Republicans to openly chug the Kool-Aid, etc.
