I got the form and filled it out. I'm not worried about my vote. Most likely they sent out a post card that you have to return to confirm your residence or something. Standard part of the R's "get voters off the rolls" strategy.

    Thanks for posting that.
It pertains to probably all situations, I guess. There are times to be circumspect, to honor decorum and to assume good intentions.
And then there are times to let people know you're happy to meet them in the gutter.
Reminds me of a time when there was a report that a white-pride group was trying to make inroads in a Division I college town (football roster predominantly Black) in my state. There was a quote from one of the players to the effect of, "Where are they? We'd be happy to meet them any time, any place."

Took about 5 minutes to vote, and then almost 40 in the line to get to one of two voting machines at my precinct.

"We definitely weren't expecting this," one poll worker said to the lady up the line from me.

But everyone was civil, no harrumping or sighing or much more than, "Ohhh, THAT's the end of the line that winds around?"

I voted last week, but my wife said there was a not-short line when she went. It's the first time there's ever been a line and we've been here almost eight years. Philly is on pace for record ED turnout. Turnout is sky high in Michigan as well.

Make of that what you will.

Don't know who the Giants play this week but that's the type of love talk that keeps a team loose. I'd bet them this week just for this moment.

Just checked: they play the Panthers in Germany and favored by 4.5.

Giants 38, Panthers 14 ... about the same margin Kamala beats Trump by.

    You’re gonna need a snooker and a three-ball table.
