I'll just remind everyone that this is not an election that is comparable to previous ones.

You cannot compare anything to 2020 because of the high number of mail-ballots due to COVID. Turnout will look completely different because of that.

You cannot compare it to 2016 because many states have instituted early voting or increased mail-in ballots following the 2020 experience.

As hard as it is, patience is required. Let the results marinate.

Accurate exit polls would be a bigger upset than Trump winning.

Which is why I’ll be watching Miami (Ohio) against Bowling Green.

It is of zero benefit to my mental health to watch any election returns for a while. Although I’ll probably check this thread.

    Otherwise, it’s MACtion for me.

Curious what you are seeing that makes you feel that. Having “democracy” as the top issue in the consortium poll (and by an even bigger margin in the AP version) strikes me as a positive sign for Team Donkey.

Republican operative friend says the DNC is looking at turnout in North Carolina and Georgia and is confident both are going blue.

Not to mention 7-hour lines at Pennsylvania colleges. A strong youth vote would be huge.

Exactly. "Democracy" is the number one concern for Democrats. It's third for Republicans.

This is why I can't even look in here tonight. Every blip is going to be heralded as the difference-maker.
