I think there is still a fairly strong belief in this country that a woman can't be president, and it holds true in certain demographics. A lot of white men believe in a traditional household where the wife is subservient to the husband.

A lot of black men too. And if that 23 percent number holds accurate and many others stayed home, don’t ask me to come out and march for jack shit the next time a police lynching grabs the headlines. I can’t want something for you more than you want it for yourself.

If that makes me a terrible person so be it.

Montgomery, Bucks, and Chester all have less than 40% of the vote in. Allegheny County still has 20% to go. And Philadelphia County has 40% left to go. That's a lot of total votes.

I feel ya. This is nauseatingly close, and, seeing it laid out and reported, concretely, is making me ill so far.

The amount of support for Trump -- and some of where it is coming from -- is simply unbelievable.

I mean, how is Georgia turning red? How is Mississippi already called for Trump, a racist if there ever was one?

How are North Carolina and Pennsylvania turning red, after all the work Harris has done in those places, and all the despicable BS Trump has done?

It's sickening that he has any support. And this much? Inexplicable, except that people are truly ignorant and stupid, and really don't know all the good that Biden has done in his presidency, making them think they actually were better off four years ago.

The way I worked it was to take the totals listed at the link below and extrapolate them out based on the percentage reported. Then I compared it to the totals listed by county for 2020 on their Wikipedia page. I’m doing a huge amount of rounding so expect a sizable margin of error. But the trend is the trend.

I said a similar thing back in July, shortly after she entered the race.

Someone on here quoted it in early September, along with some other post-assassination attempt and post-Biden withdrawal posts in July, bragging about how high Harris was in the polls and how stupid that talk of that time looked.

    Well?

Nobody can possibly be this naive, right?

The Democrats are terrible at politics.

(and, noted, still have a path to victory.)

I wish I had listened to me on this thread from October 2021.
