Forgot that Larry Blurred transferred to Saint Louis. In action at Santa Clara right now, with his former Indiana State coach.

The YouTube games from Sioux Falls have been surprisingly good for stream quality. I think they may be taking a feed from Midco Sports, which is a division of the dominant cable company in the Dakotas.

91-9 at halftime. (no, this isn't last night's election score)

Robert Parish weeps (even if this wasn’t the men’s team).

Nothing tops the comedy of November basketball announcers on ESPN Plus.

Back from timeout at Saint Mary’s (not exactly a schlub program) and the announcer is giddy because “I’ve always wanted to say this. We welcome those of you coming over from Monday Night Football, where the Ravens just beat the Bengals on ESPN.”

He did a reasonable job hiding his embarrassment when the color guy corrected him on the spot.

I think I know now why Sun Belt Billy isn’t getting insta-fired. And Scott Stricklin probably won’t be around to swing that ax.

For a bunch of college kids, the Alligator does some incredible investigative reporting. And I hope this nails the final coffin in Stricklin's time in Gainesville.

The University of Florida Athletic Association has its own board of directors, so there's a level of murkiness (perfect for Gators) between the university and what control it has over the UAA. The athletic director reports directly to the university president but that doesn't mean squat since Gator Boosters are responsible for 100 percent of UAA's budget.

It's actually been a thing since 1929, when the school needed funding for Florida Field. So there's actually nothing tying academics and athletics to the hip, financially. Seems a little too loosey-goosey, considering Charley Pell and Urban Meyer put black eyes on the program.

If Penn State and Michigan State are maligned for their turning to blind eye to sexual abuse, UF is right up there in the top 5 for potential insitutional sleaziness.

I always heard it was a state law that prevented universities from directly spending on athletics (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) and so the UAA was established as a workaround.
