When Dems lose it's all "moderate, bend over backward to get the votes of people who despise you, empathize with the downtrodden who blame immigrants for economic woes and not the greedy business owners and their Republican servants."

When GOP loses it is all "FRAUD!!!!!! RIGGED!!!!!"

No introspection, no moderating, no change in message.

I say 200,000 Fucko opponents should show.
And boo his sorry ass, every minute, on everything he says.

Drown him out, every time he opens his anus-mouth.
No fighting, though. Keep on booing but keep safe, too.

    I like this idea.

If we all did show up, just imagine how large he'd boast the crowd was.

When the fuck is Arizona going to be done counting so we know Kari Lake has the stake in her heart?

Well, wherever a heart is supposed to be. That bitch doesn't have a shred of heart.

The House is the only shred of hope for staving off Gilead. The numbers look dire, but almost all the undecided seats are out west, specifically in Cali where several red seats could flip.

I believe Marie Gluesenkamp Perez held off her Trump wannabe opponent and retained her House seat in SW Washington.

Out this way, we elected SIX women Dems for Congress between Eugene and Vancouver, WA. One flip of a GOP seat by Oregon's first black Member of Congress, two facing their first reelections and one in the cake Portland seat. The SW Washington seat is very tough and Gluesenkamp Perex is a very interesting figure. To sweep the six is pretty big.

I kind of think Trump and his people get off on the rage of his opponents. Just ignoring the guy might be better.

A good, if depressing/sad/slightly nausea-inducing general story on Trump and what the future holds.

    Trump Won. Now What?

I found this story comprehensive, interesting, and helpful, actually. It moved a needle for me.

    MSN

The writer puts the blame for the Democrats' loss in the Presidential election squarely on right-wing media, which is affecting too many, too effectively, he says, with no guardrails in place, as it were. The electorate, the article contends, was effectively and intentionally both misinformed, and essentially, brainwashed.

When read and thought about in the way the writer explains, I find it hard to disagree, and my perception of what happened is changing. Make no mistake, I always thought Fox News and its ilk was, and is, having way too much influence on everyone watching it. But until now, I've not really thought of its consumption as perhaps the No. 1 factor in the election results. But I think I kind of do, now.

That scares and angers me, too, because I consider it a bastardization of traditional journalism that is difficult to parse or counter if people don't also read/listen to other sources of news and information. It's sad to say, but something we have to consider is just how much our business/chosen profession contributed mightily to Kamala Harris's -- and our -- loss to Donald Trump.
