That Washington rookie might have to pay the ultimate price for ending their chances.

Ugh. Shouldn’t been in that position. Should have scored a TD with the short field earlier, knew that would come back to haunt Washington. Good game, SJ Steeler Nation.

The Steelers got lucky. That fourth-down spot was a break, though I thought there were plenty of shaky calls both ways.

Of course, the Steelers lost two defensive starters today to injury, including an ugly one to Highsmith's ankle. Hate to see them going into their first game against the Ravens short-handed.

I watched the entire Vikings-Jaguars game, and quite honestly, I don't know why. However badly played you think it was, it was actually worse than that.

This will be a good learning game for Daniels down the road. Usually don’t ascribe to the good loss theory, but I think it applies here.

Then, you may enjoy the absurdities offered today at Soldier Field.

With an appropriately stupid finish. The Jags' Travon Walker came in throwing punches and got called for a dead ball personal foul after they'd gotten the defensive stop they needed to get the ball back with a minute left.
Dude suddenly thought he was in the last scene of a Rocky movie.

But, for the love of sanity, will he look at the freaking goalposts?

Aaron Rodgers brings to mind late-career Randall Cunningham, short-arming his throws and riding out the string.

Eight minutes left, and he has not completed a pass of 10 or more yards.
