NFL Week 11 -- No Walk Through Orchard Park

Believe it or not, this will be the first time the Chiefs and Bills have played in front of live fans in a regular-season matchup in Buffalo since 2014. Last meeting in Buffalo was during the 2020 COVID season. KC of course won in the playoffs there in January. Buffalo last beat KC at home in the regular season in 2012.

THOUGHTS
* Two good national TV games, one dud in Dallas. Curious to see how the Commanders bounce back in a tough spot after a tough loss. Philly is looking better, but there's really only one impressive win during the current five-game streak (at Cincy). Also have beaten the Browns, Giants, Jags and zombie Cowboys.
* Being in the market I'm in, I'll definitely be getting Baltimore-Pittsburgh over the air, which should be a fun one. There is no other game in the early window that moves the needle, so I'll stay at home to watch.
* That said, all three late games are intriguing. The Niners are still up against it and can't really afford to stumble against a struggling Seahawks team at home. No idea if Atlanta can go outside and beat a decent team. Also no idea if Denver is actually a decent team, but Nix is improving and Payton is worth a win or two on his own.
* I said on the last thread that I think it'll take at least 10, if not 11 wins, to get a wild card in the NFC. Not the case in the AFC, where I could easily see a 9-8 team sneaking in there. Miami and Cincy are very much alive, sitting right behind the Broncos. Fins still get the Jets twice, Pats once, the Raiders. There's a path to climb out of that 2-6 hole. A win at SoFi would do wonders for the Bengals, who have a tough two-week stretch (Steelers at home next week) then get Dallas, Tennessee, Cleveland, and Denver.

 

Washington is a bunch of lucky asses. Should have lost to the Bears and the Giants in their first meeting. Philly will take them down this week.

The Bills beat the Chiefs in Arrowhead in the 2021, 2022 and 2023 regular seasons.

Wouldn't surprise me a bit. To the point about the Eagles' lack of impressive wins, Washington hasn't been that much better. Best wins were definitely the blowout in Arizona following the MNF win in Cincy.

 

Chiefs have RB Isiah Pacheco and DE Charles Omenihu returning to practice this week, and WR JuJu Smith-Schuster is close, too. They better invest in a left tackle, or Mahomes is going to get killed.

 

Isn't the trade/waiver pickup deadline passed?

 

I had the good fortune of attending the Chargers-Titans game in Sofi. What a great gameday experience, from easy parking to friendly fans to clean surroundings and great food but really, it’s so much different to see in person than sitting at home watching on TV. And of course by “it” I mean the level of Will Levis suck. It’s a sight to see him standing there, play after play, with no understanding of the oncoming pass rush ready to devour him. He’s the worst QB I’ve ever seen in person - and this was one of his better games.

 

Yeah, and I get that Colts-Jets stinker instead of Ravens at Steelers. I think even the Hts fans here would rather watch Baltimore play Pittsburgh.

 

There are a few guys out there without jobs, so I expect they can sign one with no problem. Did that with Hunt.
