Auburn’s placekicker is from Birmingham-Southern. They straight up went shopping at the mattress store right before it became a Spirit Halloween.

Colorado’s last three buffalo mascots have been named Tequila, Rowdy and Blackout. I think this is their application for the next SEC expansion.

Maybe name the next one Rohypnol.

It must suck to be an Arkansas football fan.

We'll soon see how fans and administration handle expectations. There wasn't anything wrong with the peak Bill Mallory days of the late 80s/early 90s when IU would win 7-8 games and play in a bowl (I'm showing my age); if Cignetti did that this year it would have been a smashing success. But now, if he settles into that going forward, will it be good enough?

We sure Texas is a great team? Like real, real sure?

This Tex-Ark game is just a Ewers pick-six away from being an upset. As frustrating as it must be to be a college football fan - particularly one with high expectations - I'd love to find out how NIL donors feel when "their" players don't deliver. Team would be smart to put dollars on the position, rather than the player. You want to $1m, you better be QB1. And provide incentive for the whole team. $10k per player for a playoff berth. $1,000 for a bowl game.

Pitt just put on a master class of what not to do on third and goal at the 1

As much as I dislike Prime and his program, I'd have a hard time arguing against Travis Hunter for the Heisman.

UMass laying up for a game-winning field goal at the gun instead of keeping pressure on a reeling Liberty because that never ever goes wrong. Overtime.

Striped it. Would've been good from 50.
If they aren't dating anyone, Henry and Belle might be getting married by the end of the weekend after this.
Love the reactions, too. The look of absolute disbelief on Belle's face at 2:50, and Henry knowing he drilled it right as soon as he kicked it. I'm guessing Henry was either a high school kicker or at least a soccer player.

I wonder what the going rate in NIL is for kickers these days. Do you just fill their account after they make crucial kicks? I am pretty sure this guy is the highest paid kicker in college football right now.

I'm amazed how many great football teams have unremarkable QBs. Texas and Georgia to name two. You would think schools like that would be magnets for great QBs.

Particularly when there is no great QB, how can you not love a guy who excels on both sides of the ball? To me, it's an easy call.
