Trump strengthened his call on Tuesday for Republicans to resist Democratic efforts to seat as many judges as possible in the time remaining. “The Democrats are trying to stack the Courts with Radical Left Judges on their way out the door,” he said in a Truth Social post. “Republican Senators need to Show Up and Hold the Line—No more Judges confirmed before Inauguration Day!”

 

There are 30 court vacancies that don't have a nominee. They are all in the state you would assume they are. Five of them have been vacant since 2021 -- one is from February 2020. There should not be a vacancy of more than one year. I don't care the state, I don't care the party in power.

Sorry Alaska judge who had to resign in disgrace. Sorry Texas judge who died. Find a replacement and fill it.

The only comfort with the picks is that the people selected have so little expertise with the areas they've been tapped to lead, they will be limited in how much chaos they can cause.
