    That's my fear as an Indiana guy. If the Hoosiers lose but cover the spread (which has been climbing toward tOSU), then pile up style points with a thrashing of Purdue, they should be safe. But getting run out of Columbus would be no good.

    It's not important to win your conference (if a loss in the title game threatens your playoff position).
    It's not important to put the most talented athletes you have out there every single game.

    Everything I always believed about college football is about to be blown up.
