There was this monstrosity in 1973, when Temple just held the ball most of the game.

Drake has their coach and four starters from last year's Northwest Missouri State team. Beat Miami last night. Last winter I saw MN State Mankato hit a shot at the buzzer to beat NW Missouri State in D2 playoffs, one of the most exciting sporting events I've ever seen live. But those guys going D1 and doing pretty well also shows how good many of the top D2 teams are.

I swear to God my elementary school graduation was in whatever gym LSU and Pitt are playing in.

I wish to take this opportunity to note that Kennesaw State has a perfect record at home against Top 25 teams. Down goes Rutgers.

Sure it’s big but if the underdog winner is ranked No. 5 and we’re in the first month of the season is it really that stunning?

I think it is to a degree. They had won 85 of the last 86 and hadn't lost a road game since 2021. But from a betting standpoint South Carolina was only a 3.5 favorite.

You'd think at $500 a night, the haughty Greenbrier could build a legitimate basketball facility.

Women's Transfer Portal Team A defeats Women's Transfer Portal Team B. Glad to see the women have caught up and are now playing the same game as the men.

to be fair, South Carolina only has 3 transfers and one is from powerhouse Northwest Florida State

And one of those is their best player.

UCLA has so much talent, Close probably can't even screw it up.

It is what it is. Just another reason I'm becoming less and less interested in college sports. OMMV.
