However dumb you think TV executives are, it’s worse.

That's squarely on somebody in a corner office at 30 Rock.

EVERYTHING at Turner Sports went through legal, down to the price of toilet paper in the restrooms. I can't imagine how the other networks sign off on multi-million dollar deals without having some lawyer ask questions about every single line item.

And TV executives are, for the most part, big picture gamblers who wouldn't know if they were wearing two different colored socks. They think nothing of making massive deals with the idea that someone down the food chain will hammer out the fine print. Oops.

San Jose St, down in the 4th Q, runs into the UNLV punter resulting in a converted 4th and 1, and a subsequent UNLV td. Courtesy of special teams player John Norwood.
Late in the game, UNLV again punts. This time Norwood spectacularly wrecks the punter, actually helicoptering him. First down, game over.

Oh, and the QB was 4-22.

I wasn’t paying rapt attention, but SJSU managed to get a pair of 15-yard penalties on a Rebels touchdown and PAT respectively. That left UNLV to try a halfhearted onside kick, lest it end up with a 35-yard touchback.

Fox and Gameday both being here today made this a disaster to navigate.

    Never. Again.

IU-OSU game and TV fuckwad voicing:

"They ready. They're hungry. They're Hoosiers."

And then it cuts to a clip from the movie.

WTF do they always go for the obvious and stupid? No one watching this football game gives a flying shit about that movie right now.

Gah. I turned it off for the Yale-Harvard game.

I would like an oral history of how it was decided adding an upper deck to Virginia’s stadium was a great plan.

    Good start for IU.

I wonder if Curt Cignetti measured the height of the goal posts before the game … ;)

Guys, Florida might be better than OK when Lagway is healthy enough to play.

“Somebody in the secondary is turning the group chat green.”

OK, that’s one of the funnier announcer insults I’ve heard in a while.
