More than a few teams don't even do the victory formation from under center nowadays, for that very reason.

I don't know if they're that bad, and I was going to school for the game that inspired these uniforms so I appreciate the story behind them, but this did make me laugh.

More apologies if a d_b, but worth it for the LOL Rutgers.

The Pac-2 championship game is quite entertaining — much more so than watching Notre Dame overwhelm another service academy that had to play perfect to have a chance, but hasn’t.

Anyway, watching the Beavers move up and down the field both on the ground and in the air makes me wonder how the hell Air Force shut them out.

I'm a Hoosier fan/alum and think they're out. It's not their fault that Washington and Michigan became completely mediocre one year after playing for the title, but the playoff berth was on their racket today and they didn't have it. Terrible punt team, couldn't pick up blitzes, the QB wasn't sharp. The committee will have an easy time ruling out a non-"brand" school in favor of another 2-loss SEC team.

That said, I took my IU sophomore kid to the Horseshoe today and (for a half) had an absolute blast. Glad she could experience one of the great atmospheres in the sport. And, well, we were able to beat the traffic out.

I barely even care that Alabama is going to lose. These entitled fuckers are the reason Saban retired. He finally ran into a roster too stupid not to believe its hype the second it gets any praise. Fuck em.

If the side judge had any guts, he would have called a touchback on that Oklahoma TD where the kid was fumbling the ball trying to reach the pylon. Of course, the ref also wouldn't get out of Norman without stab wounds later tonight.

And their coach, a candidate for Obnoxious Meathead of the Year in 20 years if not sooner, is yelling at everyone in sight. No doubt projecting his own realization that he totally fucked that up.

As long as they beat Purdue they are in. The conference isn't going to let a one-loss team be left out of a 12-team playoff. If this was last year, they wouldn't make it but there's enough spots now. In a world where there is just one undefeated team and you are one of nine one-loss teams -- they aren't putting at least three two-loss teams in over a Indiana.

SEC teams are playing their way out of contention. We have been told the SEC is the Greatest Conference Ever, but ATM and Bama are losing at the half.

If an 11-1 team from one of the top 2 conferences doesn't make the playoff, what the fuck was the point of expanding the playoff?

And if they don't, the Big Ten should tell the CFP to fuck off and do their own thing, pair up with another conference (Hello Big XII) and the Rose Bowl and be the AFL of college football
