I thought he had a culture of tough, passionate young men like the one who in Nashville publicly told the coaching staff to fuck off during a game.

    Passion, y'know. Can't coach that!

If you are going to create these super conferences with unbalanced schedules, then you have to live with the fact these types of schedules are going to happen. It's not Indiana's fault that last year it would have also played Penn State because they were in the same division.

Who has Texas beaten? They got an easy conference schedule compared to the others in the race And I say that as someone who believes Texas can win the whole thing.

Indiana probably will still make the playoff since they were No. 5 coming in. The problem is they should not have been No. 5 just because they were unbeaten. Their resume is no better than several one- and two-loss teams in the Top 25. If I'm on the committee I say they are not one of the 12 best teams in the country. You could make a case the Hoosiers are the 6th-best team in their own conference behind Oregon. Ohio State, Penn State, Illinois and Iowa. They might not even beat USC or Minnesota for that matter. They played only one of those seven teams and lost badly. If they get in fine, but if not, they won't be among the top 50 of teams that have been screwed out of postseason play.

I hate to say Alabama got screwed on a call, but Alabama just got screwed on a call. In an SEC game.
I feel like a unicorn and Bigfoot just beamed down into my living room from a UFO.
Wiped out a hell of a touchdown catch by Ryan Williams, too.

Yeah, I won't bitch and moan if Indiana gets in. And I won't bitch and moan if Tennessee doesn't. You had a chance to cement your place without needing any help --- and blew it.

Eh, they just wait until Alabama is crappy before screwing them. :)

It’s hard to get mad because they’d lose anyway and deserve to. But this is an industrial-grade dry dicking.

If Alabama loses and A&M ends up surviving Auburn and beats Texas, then every SEC team with less than three losses would get in and you'd still have room for Indiana.

I find it really funny when the playoffs expand to 12, Bama won’t be in it. The SEC is about to see two teams bounced to go to three instead of five. And we’re a Georgia SEC title loss away from the whole system melting down.

And the Beavs get it done, converting a late WSU fumble into the game winning FG in Corvallis. The Cougs defense can’t tackle anyone or cover anyone. Other than that, they’re great!

If I’m DeBoer, I lose all 3 timeouts on the whitehat asking for an explanation.
