I have no earthly idea who is broadcasting USC-UCLA, but the guy doing color sounds exactly like Edward Norton.

Maybe the committee will finally see fit to put SMU in. They've deserved to be on the right side of the cut line as it is and if they're not in on Tuesday, they should take Lance McIlhenny to the committee room to beat some ass.

    As usual, magnificent uniform contrast.

Alas, no Clarendon font for UCLA's numbers.

    How much will that cost?

They said it was the same crew from UGA-Texas, which indicates they are well regarded, or at least were. (Nice job bending to the bottle throwers.) But that’s a bad enough call all by itself to get your bowl assignment switched to the Potato Bowl, if not left at home altogether.

Not like they wouldn’t have to restock the roster anyway. They’ll be peeling out for the transfer portal in their Dodge Chargers the instant the Iron Bowl clock hits triple zero.

So when he’s shopping for the next roster, he better know exactly what he needs to make his way work. I’m not saying he’d get fired if next year goes poorly, but it will set off a doom loop he can’t recover from. People will grumble through losing on talent and occasionally strategy. But a collapse in discipline and preparation will render you public enemy number one in this state.

SEC will get 4. There’s nobody else to take.

Even if you put all these in

    Undefeated
    Oregon

    1-loss
    Army
    SMU
    Miami
    Ohio State
    Indiana
    Penn State
    Notre Dame
    Boise
    Texas

There's two two-loss teams in. Army obviously isn't making it, so at least three with two losses get in. If there's no room for Indiana, then what are we doing.

Give the ACC and Big 12 a second team each. Why the hell not at this point?

The only three-loss team I could make a case for is Georgia if it beats Tech and loses the SECCG.

Doom Loop would be a great band name.
