Sat through that one in the stands. Nick Saban showed considerable mercy to Mike Shula to not make it worse. The only other memorable thing was that my then sister-in-law pushed her wedding back to Sunday because trying to do wedding in downtown Tuscaloosa on a gameday is an impossibility. That meant she got married on my birthday.

Feinbaum's Monday show figures to be epic. Tide fans haven't known a three-loss team since 2010. Auburn fans will be upset that their team won because it hurt the SEC and put a temporary freeze on the attempts to oust another coach.

Pac-2 champions, baby. Great atmosphere, great game. It was my 11th college football game this fall and it did not rain at any of them.

Texas with one loss, Georgia and Tennessee with two. Anyone else worth a lick have three (LOL Bama). SMU and Indiana have cases but the committee could have other thoughts. Big 12’s highest ranked bubble team just lost. So did the other.

I’m all in for more teams in the playoff but this is a bad year for it.

I like you but you sound stupid as shit when you go on these tangents.

    Penn State 26, Minnesota 25.
First game with that score for any FBS team in eight years. (Temple at UCF, 10/15/2016).
Only second in Big Ten history. (Wisconsin at Northwestern, 10/4/1997).

@micropolitan guy, I asked earlier in the thread, how the heck did Air Force shut out Oregon State last week?

I know Wazzu has an awful defense, but it’s not like the Falcons are world beaters, either. And the Beavers moved it both on the ground and in the air when needed tonight.

Glad you had a good time — seemed like a great atmosphere on TV.

Lot of money will change hands in the SEC after today. Auburn owes ATM $250,000. Oklahoma owes Alabama the same amount.
(OK. Not a lot of money by CFB standards. But it does prove that nothing can stifle the enthusiasm of a crowd.)

My favorite shoes as a kid came from Kmart. Damn, I loved those shoes. Rosebud.

LOL ... There was a bit of a scrum at the end of the first half in USC-UCLA that resulted in UCLA getting three unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. They had to kick off from the 5-yard line to start the second half.

And now USC is resorting to a fourth down near midfield. Behold the genius of Lincoln Riley.
