In other words, there's hope for Daniel Jones. Just like there was for Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold once they put Charlotte in their rearview mirror.

Can John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan keep all those high-priced players and make room for Brock Purdy's second contract?

Broncos and Raiders with an Alcoa Fantastic Finish for the degenerates.
Raiders, +6 on the board and trailing by 10, flip a big middle finger to analytics and keep going for the touchdown well past the point where they should've kicked the field goal to make it a one-score game. They have a receiver tackled inside the 1-yard line on a weird broken play, then throw two incompletions before Aidan O'Connell is sacked to end the game.

Precisely, Sam. Count how many guys have re-emerged after wearing out their welcome in their first stop.

I know I would not have laid money five weeks ago on the Seahawks becoming a good defensive team. But the last two weeks they sure have been.

That’s a very good question. Something is definitely missing. They have really underperformed for all that talent. Yes, they have had injuries. But so does every team.

That wasn't even the best thing he did today!

Definitely a guy everyone in the room would fight for. Why can't the Browns get natural leaders and all-pro QBs like that @TheSportsPredictor?! #StillTooSoon?

I'm satisfied that Lawrence is the right quarterback. I believe all the guys blocking for him should be sent to the United Football League ... or maybe they can be its owner's security pizza delivery team.

Are there that many Eagles fans in SoFi, or is NBC jacking with the sound? It sounded like a game at the Linc when Barkley scored that touchdown.

I suspect they'll get in. But while you lament this one -- and a missed extra point does suck -- remember the Bears game, which was considerably more implausible than today's loss. They're 1-1 in those two games. Probably just as they should have been.
Their remaining schedule is pretty benign: Titans (3-8); Saints (4-7); Eagles (8-2); Falcons (6-5); and Cowboys (4-7).
At least three wins there. Maybe four. They'll make it.
