Michael Lewis talking about Tom Wolfe. Two people with their heads so far up their asses.

I like Tom Wolfe, but their is a whiff of bullshit to his essays, 'A Man in Ful' is a tedious turd, and that Charlotte Simmons thing was even more tedious. Charlotte and her roommate are from different economic backgrounds? Let's just hammer home that point for 30 pages.

Season 2 of Bad Sisters hs been a bit of a mess for me. I’ll stick with it, but so far I have been underwhelmed.

We’ve officially moved to the hate-watching stage of Yellowstone. Just comically awful.

I think the latest episode of Shrinking is pretty solid. For me it nailed the balance of serious/zany.

Anyone else watching? I’m enjoying it, but not sure where it’s going.
There are lots of pretty people with a really cool montage capping an oil well.

Saw the inaugural last night. I think I'll stick with it.
I'm not a big Billy Bob Thornton fan but this role is made for him. I didn't care for "Goliath" even though I was familiar with the places he hung out because they're in my hometown (Chez Jay restaurant, the Shores motel are across the street from the Santa Monica Pier). It's fun to see places you know in TV productions.

Give me Thornton, Hamm and Demi Moore in one big ol' helping, and I'll have me another. Although I hope Moore's character has a little more depth than we've seen so far.

We couldn’t make through season 2 without cracking up at how bad the writing was. It’s like there was a joke being played on us that this show was so popular.

I wasn't too bothered, even into season 3. But this is now next-level suck. You can kinda see it on some of the actors' faces. "What the hell I am supposed to do with this garbage?"

Derek has been even better this season… and I think we’ve just started to peel his onion.

Get Millie Black on Max. Very strong first episode. Series is about the title character who is a police detective in Jamaica recently returned from a long spell in the UK. Often unsettling as anti-LGBTQ violence is a main plot thread.

A Man On the Inside was wonderful. Danson is fun comedic watch and sincere. Like that Ray Romano show Men of a Certain Age but for 70 yr olds not 50.
