Slow Bern will be singing a different tune after Trump's brown shirts frog-march him and 46 other Dem Senators off of Capitol Hill.

Let’s hear about the reasoned principle for the pardon/commutation of Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort and maybe 15 others. Heck, of Ambassador-elect Kushner. I don’t get warm and fuzzy about the pardon of Hunter, but Trump has said that he’s going to use the previously non-partisan DOJ to go after his enemies. Is the response to simply wait for the worst?

Joe Biden sits alone in the Oval Office, working late at the Resolute Desk. Suddenly, the ghost of Hubert H. Humphrey materializes.

HHH: Pardon me....uh....just kidding. Sorry to interrupt.
    Biden: Jumpin' Jehosaphat! Humphrey?!
HHH: Yes, Joe. You're old Senate colleague.
Biden: You were there from my first day on the job. Miss ya, pal.
HHH: Same, my friend. It's almost time, Joe.
Biden: Next month, I know. Didn't want
    it to end like this.
HHH: I know, Joe. I know. And I feel Harris' pain. I failed to defeat a monster as the incumbent VP. Gore too. But that isn't what I meant about it's almost time.
Biden: Well, what did you mean?
HHH: Before January 20th, you will be visited by three ghosts!
    Biden: Three ghosts?
HHH: Yes, three ghosts. That's what I said.
Biden: You mean three additional ghosts or three in total including you?
HHH: Three more ghosts, yes, yes.
    Biden: And who are they?
HHH: The ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. You will NOT like what the last one has to show you!
    Biden: What can I do?
HHH: I can't tell you that...but think of immunity, Joe. Immunity!

Biden's best response might be to blanket-pardon all 2.2 million (or whatever) US governmental employees on his way out.

Granted there will be a few legit crooked ones out of those 2.2 million who get off the hook, but the move will complicate Magic Carpet Kash's purge.

Even better: Blanket pardons for undocumented aliens.

More likely the Trump DoJ will just charge Hunter with other crimes the Biden DoJ let him skate on.

I'm pretty sure it's been posted and it's no news if it ten days old.

Let’s be clear. Biden pardoning his son is repulsive to all the values America and particularly its government is supposed to stand for. But America voted and decided to wipe its ass with the rule of law. We aren’t that country anymore and even if we are allowed a change in management for 2029 that country is never coming back again.

Hell yes I’d pardon my kid if it were me at the switch for seven more weeks before representative democracy collapses like Bluesmobile. If people are still mad about this a year from now, let them choke on their five-cent eggs.

Nobody is going to care about Hunter Biden's pardon in six weeks. It will affect zero votes in any election in the future. I doubt many people care a bout it now.

The only reason I care about it is that it gives one more victory over Trumpitty Dumbtitty.

No one cared about Hunter before the magaats made him their cause, sort of like SJSU volleyball.

Biden needs to protect others on his way out.
