Just checked ESPN.com's ticket market. As you might expect, Packers-Lions is most expensive. Cost at least $200 apiece. Also as might be expected, Jags at Titans is the cheapest. $11 a pop still available.

That's a pretty damn good schedule of games for this point of the season. Even aside from the obvious (Packers-Lions, Bills-Rams, Chargers-Chiefs), there are enough subplots and interesting matchups to keep me watching for some others (Falcons-Vikings, Browns-Steelers, Raiders-Bucs, Seahawks-Cardinals, Bears-Niners, even the Bengals-Cowboys).

Not sure why, but I've gotten to the point where I wouldn't watch anything with the Jags or Titans if they were playing in my backyard.

The Titans have gotten to where the Reds were towards the end of me carrying about MLB - I’m only in it for the radio team by now.

Something about the Titans, it's like I don't even consider them to be an NFL team.

    It's a me problem, but I can't shake it.

“Just let me get one thing straight here. We have a pro football team now, but they're in Nashville?”

“Um, yeah. Oh, my God. Okay. They used to be in Houston. First they were the Oilers, and now they're the Titans.”

“The Houston Oilers are the Tennessee Titans?”

“Yeah. But that's not all. They went to the Super Bowl last year.”

    “And I missed that.”

“You would've died. It was so exciting. They almost won by one yard. One lousy yard right at the end.”

To East Tennesseeans the Titans were a TV thorn in the side, the reason they could not watch Colts games as Peyton entered the league.

Well yeah. For how many teams would Aaron Rodgers be an upgrade??
