It's as if winning the game and having bragging rights isn't enough. As if planting a flag just means more (and funny ... this didn't just occur at SEC games). Yeah, this pretty much starts with "don't be an a_shole," IMO.

I don't remember which game it was, but one of the losing coaches whose team got in a fight over the winning team planting a flag said "Oh, so now you want to fight?"

How much will USF lose by traveling to Hawaii? That payout can't be a lot, and even with a (maybe) slimmed traveling party of players, managers, staff, wives, side pieces, admins, it's a hell of an expense to fly from Tampa to Haavayee.

Through the power of ESPN+ I just watched the North Dakota State/South Dakota game from a couple of weeks ago. SD won 29-28 and it was one of the best 4-5 games I've seen this season.

South Dakota should have been South Dakota State too, but missed a game-winning field goal inside of 40 yards. Some bad late-game management there too.

FCS is a four-team race IMO with the three Missouri Valley powers and Montana State. South Dakota has the best defense of the bunch and this might be its best shot to win the FCS, but beating NDSU, SDSU or Montana State in the postseason is a whole different animal. Last year South Dakota upset NDSU in the regular season and got destroyed at home by the Bison in the playoffs.

The Shitty New York Post's comments sections are among the most vile areas on the internet. Ranking more vile? The Shitty New York Post itself.

They also turn off comments on stories that might fall slightly out of line of the lunatic-right agenda.

If Alabama makes the playoff, it will be the first selection to have lost a regular-season game by 15 or more points to a team that finished the season unranked by the AP.

Alabama will get in every time there is any excuse, any way they can make it happen. Stats, SoS, record, comps be damned. It's Alabama, Jake.
