I will say that Tempo is a very Canadian name. Not a fan of the color either.

Don't get me wrong, I love Canada and Canadians, just not the name or the color choice.

Nothing says edgy like maroon and the color of dish water after you rinse off paint brushes from art class.

You're right. In my defense, the four door version of the Tempo in its last few years is hard to distinguish from the Taurus, but the grill is a giveaway.

Amazing seeing a pro sports owner make the same argument a coach once made when he was upset about one of his guys getting on the all-area hoops team. “We were a TEAM and I don’t like one player being singled out.” Well, yeah, and on that team one guy averaged 25 and the others weren’t very good so what time can our photographer come to the school?

Bird and Magic had nothing to do with the NBA's renaissance in the '80s.
    Imagine someone saying that.

Its bizarre to me that Clark has faced such backlash from the very people who are benefitting from her presence. My goodness, I couldn't even tell you who WON the WNBA this year. It is really insane how petty and short-sighted so many in the women's game are. Major figures too. I don't know if people just realize that "arguing" against Clark (like slamming her for talking about her white privilege) is a way to get clicks - or there is genuine animosity toward her, but it is really dumb. Makes me think a lot less of the WNBA.

I've largely stayed out of the Caitlin Clark conversation. The culture war crap that was (ridiculously) generated by the usual suspects was too exhausting. She's a great player and brought massive amounts of eyeballs to the league. Good for her and good for the WNBA.

What the Mystics owner said is mind-numbingly fucking stupid.

And hoo boy am I really fucking tired of mind-numbingly fucking stupid.

"Yeah, that Ohtani guy is great, but let's celebrate the wonder of Tommy Edman!"

Unless the 2025 tournament is as big as this year's was, next season will be the real test. Do people stick around to see Clark and Reese?

The owner talked about it towards the end of the interview, but with a lot more b-school terms.
