Agree with you there, and if he changed up his ways when it comes to his aggressiveness, and it cost them in a playoff game, that would be tough to stomach.

Another consideration is that the defense was getting absolutely gashed after halftime.

Yeah, given the way the Packers were moving the ball in that game there is at least an argument, though I'm pretty sure I don't buy it, in favor of the late game decision. Going for it on fourth down on his own 31 late in the third quarter is a lot harder for me to understand, though. Giving the Packers the ball in your own end and all the momentum seems too big a risk for any benefit gained there.

Weren’t the Lions 4-for-5 on fourth-down conversions? That’s not taking a risk, that’s straight up saying “We don’t think y’all can stop us.”

This reminds me of the line in Casablanca when the Nazi major Strasser dismissed Rick as "just another blundering American" and Louie replies, "We mustn't underestimate American blundering. I was with them when they blundered into Berlin in 1918."

Campbell's so dumb he might blunder into a Lombardi Trophy. I mean, the guy has turned the Lions -- THE LIONS! -- into the best team in the NFC.

Interesting breakdown of a Lions touchdown here. They created confusion not just with their alignment, but how they lined up — as in, how they moved to their positions. Notice Amon-Ra St. Brown hiding in the huddle, too, to further avoid detection.

“Romo, Nantz, you’re doing the Browns game this week.”

“I’m going to talk to my agent to see if I wrote a flex schedule clause in my contract.”

Jameis Winston-Russell Wilson buddy cop show would be incredible, though.

The guy who bet $3,100,000 on the Eagles to beat the Panthers is very nervous right about now.

Just looking at the score, Jags and Titans seem to be living up to expectations

    It was a money-line bet I gather?

The result was predictably ugly. The Steelers tried to let them back in it late, but the Browns had to Brown. Why does anybody think Kadarius Toney is worth using at this point? He took an idiotic penalty on one punt return, then muffed away the Browns' last chance on the next one.
