Baltimore Banner with an extensive history of this kid’s family. Grandfather was a self made millionaire who donated a lot to local charities. They had a lot to with nursing homes.

A cousin is a state rep (Republican) and a lot of ties to Loyola…the pool is named after the family.

Son of Sam was convicted of second-degree murder in 1978 and will never see the light of day. His sentences were to be served consecutively, but he became eligible for parole in 2003 and he's been turned down every year since.

I'm sure the statutes have changed since then, but this guy is close to as notorious. He'll still be scrubbing toilets in Sing Sing in 2094.

It won't happen, but it would be interesting to see the ensuing craziness if Pennsylvania refused to extradite him.

I'd imagine the feds would get involved pretty quickly over the gun/state line issues.

Josh Shapiro is the former Attorney General of Pennsylvania. He’s not fucking around with that nonsense.

If you're going to fight extradition on a case like this, especially in a neighboring state, you'd better have a damn good reason. I highly doubt it's worth it for anybody in Pennsylvania's upper echelons of power to ruffle those kinds of feathers over this guy.

    He got caught.

    Law enforcement didn't catch him.

The feds under MAGA rule will almost certainly involve themselves with the interstate stuff since one of their own got snuffed. Or they may not since it won't involve the death penalty, but Stinky and his oligarch Stinkettes will try.

This is all still so bizarre. Did he plan his arrest? I have seen it suggested.

He has calculated a lot in this, but what does calculating his own capture do?
