Already this morning the Israelis have put troops in Syria, launched 300 air sorties, and sank the Syrian navy while in port... because, of course that helps the situation in Gaza.

 

It’s all connected. Syria’s government falling goes directly back to Israel counterattacking after Hamas attacked Israel.

 

There’s a race to get that mustard gas.

It has nothing to do with Gaza. They're destroying weapon stockpiles so that whatever regime fills the vacuum in Syria (which could end up being far worse than Assad) isn't strong enough to pose a significant threat. It would be strategic malpractice for Israel not to be doing this.
