    Saw this mentioned on the football thread, but thought it was interesting enough to break out into its own. The footage of Mark Gastineau confronting Brett Favre at a memorabilia show accusing him of taking a dive to give Strahan the single-season sack record was kind of sad, but I thought it was interesting to see how upset he still was.

    I have incredible resentment against Mark for his roughing the passer penalty and his sack dancing rather than picking up a fumble. But he ain’t wrong. And fuck Favre.

    Yeah, screw them both. Gastineau got, what, 17 years out of that record? That's pretty good and all NFL records are made to be broken especially as the league keeps adding games.
