    It was pretty epic.

Related: I've been jamming on Questlove's YR Spotify playlist all day at work.

The Yacht Rock doc was really great. And is there a finer beard in all of pop music than Michael McDonald? Though, Kenny Loggins had an All-Star beard in his prime. Really enjoyed it. And as @Cosmo has already done, I'm gonna get on that Questlove playlist.

I also finished the Madden game doc. Good stuff. I didn't quite connect as much with the final part, as I think the last Madden version I bought/played was in 2006. And I was never involved in online play or anything like that. But the advancements are absolutely amazing.

Watched the first episode of the Stax documentary on Max which came out earlier this year. It was really good. Amazing how great Otis and Sam & Dave were with that house band.

Kenny Rogers had those crossover pop hits, so I'm gonna roll with
the Gambler's beard, may it Rest in Peace. ... And, whoops, you too, Kenny!

Outside music, Rock Hudson truly had the best beards.
One year it was Doris Day. And Susan St. James later on!

Susan St. James is where I developed a love of whiskey and cigarettes voice from a woman. Picked up a woman with that voice at a St. Louis bar one time, but I got too drunk to do anything. She was really attractive, but, lord, that voice!

Suzanne Pleshette is my all-timer from that genre.

We watched Yacht Rock on the weekend, really really good.

A guy I know is a customs officer on the Canadian side of the Detroit-Windsor border and he often checks tour buses as they come over. He said the nicest tour bus he ever saw - by far - belonged to Christopher Cross. He said the artists are rarely ever on them just in case something is found but he said Cross, on his way to some casino gigs up here, was on his and was more than happy to show them around and chat for a bit. I thought he was really good on that doc.
