They didn’t do the cold open promos that used to be awesome, but they did “Obsession” with today’s crew, which was pretty cool.

Good mix of nostalgia and modern so far. And we have a hot New York crowd.

 

Not watching because we're at a concert tonight, but I saw that SNME is up against a live Collision. That doesn't even seem fair.

 

Yeah, and they have Jesse in the right role. He still has the voice, but he’s a little slower on his delivery. Keep him as a co-host instead of a color commentator.

 

Yeah, not sure if Jesse would even know what a hurricanrana is, let alone pronounce it.

Then again, Karrion Kross has such a wicked impression of Jesse, they could just trot him out and keep him off camera.

 

OK, Toni still has a screw loose. This should be good.

 

The right call: Chelsea has been one of the biggest unheralded stars on the women's roster ever since she came back. She should do big business with her own championship to further stoke her true Karen-ness.

 

OK, that was entertaining as hell. Great pace, crowd was on fire, and Jesse sounded like he still belonged there.

 

Collision was taped Thursday.

 

Yeah. Jesse is still getting back into the hang of things with knowing what is going on, and it was basically just a souped-up Raw or SmackDown, but I'm looking forward to the next show.
