We saw Wicked tonight. My daughter loved it. I enjoyed it. My wife thought it was too long, which is a fair point given that it is only Part 1. The cast is excellent. Yes, even Ariana Grande.

Robert Altman's The Player. Definitely one of the best films of the 1990s. Perfect satire, by turns eerie and hilarious. Great cast (and thousands of cameos). Doesn't feel dated. Don't miss it.

    Trap.

A dumber police force has yet to be hired.

Carry-On, newest Netflix thriller. Pretty solid ripoff/homage of Die Hard 2. Jason Bateman makes a convincing bad guy. Filmed two years ago.

Juror #2, I wish they addressed jurors more accurately.

Heat. I think the only time I saw it was in the theater in 1995. It really holds up. Great cast obviously. And outstanding performances.

The bank heist plot led me to Quick Change. Which I found on one of our streamers but haven’t watched yet. I’ve seen it since the theater in 1990, but it’s been a long, long time.
