Cannot wait for the Greg Byrne follow-up email explaining I need to contribute to the NIL fund because we are at a competitive disadvantage to North Dakota basketball. This feels like football at Vandy all over again.

What in the wide wide world of sports is Alabama doing playing AT North Dakota?
Their football team barely left the state for a decade and their basketball team is going to North Dakota.

Grant Nelson, whom 'Bama poached from North Dakota State, is, not surprisingly, a North Dakota native. Of course they should be playing ND State instead, but what can you do?

This is the balancing act that administrators must do these days. They feel they have to turn over every rock for cash, but mass emails to the entire donor or fan population in search of cash for direct player payment are almost certain to turn off a lot of folks. While Alabama might be among the first to do it, others will follow.

He's from Devils Lake, about 90 minutes directly west of Grand Forks. Much easier than having all his kin go to Fargo.

Listen I already said I don't come here for grammar corrections, don't start correcting me about the geography of places I've never been! :D

All I can add is that the Amtrak Empire Builder route stops in a town that rhymes with WHY-not.

Really bummed that my buddy’s kid who started year as one of the most highly touted transfers and starter at UConn now only gets 5 mins a game. Hope he someone gets out of the doghouse (I even joked Bueckers would be his GF). Boy did I miss the mark.

So Georgetown absolutely clobbered Creighton last night in D.C. Are the Hoyas back? They built an early record against such stalwarts as Fairfield, Wagner, St. Francis and Albany. But they just won at Syracuse and now beat Creighton by 24. Hmmm.
