Interesting stuff. My alarm bells went off when Team Biden passed on the traditional Super Bowl interview during an election year. Those closest to him - family and staff - really need to explain why they had no problems with him running for re-election. Senior Dem officials as well. It was only after the debate that the cat was out of the bag.

Even if it isn't true, Trump needs to be hearing this sort of thing. It's a different form of influence campaign.

Prediction - a bill will be passed at about 8 p.m Friday night so Congress can get home for the Holiday Break. Even these principled conservatives will bend because they want to be home for the holidays. The final bill won't be much different than what was initially proposed, Trump and Musk (TRUSK?) will be able to claim "victory" since they felt left out of the initial process and now feel like they showed 'em who is boss.
