No, but a lot of their voters will after it hits them.

On the other hand, if the government is shuit down when Trump becomes president, he has a perfect excuse tnot to do all the big things he promised.

He's not an idiot but he is super lazy. The idea of making a sustained effort to something, of paying attention to, you know, the boring details, must be giving him a headache. Better to delay and wait for something to save him - as has happened so often in his life.

Is a deep dive by the WSJ into Trump's decline up next? Seriously...

Honestly, what difference does the issue, with regard to Biden, matter now, at this point? Except maybe as an argument for an upper-age limit for public office, especially the Presidency. Which we should have.

At least Biden had good, trusted, trustworthy people around him to help. Trump will not have that.

Disgusting? That sounds like an international criminal act. And I don't mean the raping, although that is, too.

What the hell is wrong with people?

… Fox reporter Liz Elkind reports an anonymous House Republican said this to her: “Musk and Vivek should not have jumped in at the 11th hour and should have handled it directly with the Speaker. Folks on the same side shouldn’t act like these two. They’re more about the clicks and bright lights than getting the job done. I’ll have nothing to do with them after watching them trash the Speaker.”

… Another quote from a House Republican to Elkind: “Trump doesn’t understand Congress. He wants all GOP wins and no concessions to Dems. The Senate and the WH are still run by Dems. He’s not living in reality.”

… Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA): “It appears that Elon Musk is trying to take the role of an unelected President, and it appears Donald Trump is following his orders.”

… Rep. Rosa Delauro (D-CT) referred to Elon today to the press as ‘President Musk.’

… EVERY legacy media outlet wanted an interview with Trump at this crucial time in the negotiations today, but who did Trump give this scoop to? ABC. Didn’t they just pay him $15 million? And if ABC doesn’t like this suggestion of possible impropriety, they shouldn’t have settled the case, because this is going to happen a lot now.

I don't expect it. I can hope for it, though. All legacy media worth its salt should be doing it as it certainly would make more sense and be more useful at this point than going over the problems of a nearly-done Biden, who obviously had good, trusted and trustworthy advisors around to help him. Trump's team, by contrast, is more likely to feed on him rather than support him and be helpful, if it ever comes to that and they have the opportunity. (Musk is probably already doing it, in fact).

The only thing Stinky hates more than anything is someone shading him like Elmo is doing now.

That bromance will be lucky to last to Jan. 20. Vivek is more low-key and will be a more eager DOGE-licker.
