    And that's a good argument.

My counter would be that they played two pretty good teams this year and lost to both of them. Their best wins are Duke and Louisville.

They don't have any bad losses, but they don't have any good wins either. This is a mediocre team.

UND and NDSU both have domes. It's older in Grand Forks and Fargo than in Brookings and Vermillion (not by much, true).

So who do you reward, a mediocre team who overachieved, or a more talented team who underachieves and loses to a couple of 6-6 teams?

And, both viewpoints are correct. I think SMU is better than mediocre, but definitely not in an 8-team playoff. Leaving out a team that went undefeated in its P4 conference and lost in the conference title game over a team that was a mediocre 5-3 in conference and didn't sniff the conference championship game wasn't a precedent the committee wanted to set.

This Clemson run defense is so bad, that Bevo would go for 200 and 3 td.
    my gracious.

    What do you know?
    A shotgun 4th/goal run
    Absolutely unreal

Bevo would run for 200 yards against any defense. He weighs as much as five human defenders with a hornspan— love that word — of nearly five feet.

We took a full tour of the Fargodome. They had pictures of NDS and ND playing in the 1890s or something. I thought how much that would have sucked to live there in the wintertime.

Officials allowing Ohio State to pinch Tennessee and jaw them as they leave the field from warmups. That's really stupid.

Especially since the center appeared to be uncovered.
