St. Louis is a union town and votes reliably Democratic in national elections. STL, K.C. and Columbia are the Democratic strongholds in a sea of red.

if he does what he did last year it’s a major upgrade and if he’s not, maybe Ben rice is ready with some more seasoning.

He could be done but last year might also be a blip and in that lineup he’ll be protected more

And at $12.5 million, he's a good bargain.

Goldschmidt is a perfectly fine one-year stopgap. If he's got a little left, he's an infinite upgrade on Rizzo (who for the record is an even gianterer asshole). If he's done, the Yankees can move on quickly.

There’s assholes everywhere. St. Louis and my house are no exceptions.

Guardians dump Josh Naylor to Arizona, bring back Carlos Santana for a third act.

Why does Carlos even leave at this point? The two know they are destined to be together.

Josh Naylor will have eaten himself out of the league by age 33. Sad because he has an amazing hit tool.

I’m confused by the trade, but it will be July and Slade Cecconi will have a 3.35 ERA somehow after the Guardians sprinkle magic fairy dust on him.

It's sort of appropriate Santana comes back to Cleveland the day we lost Rickey, the four-time Athletic. Can't imagine there are many active players, if any, who have played for the same team three times.
