    Take a bow, Tee Higgins.

You still have to assume your NFL kicker can convert the equivalent of a PAT.

No ties in the NFL in two years.
There were only three ties in a 14-year time frame from 1988-2012.

That was quite the emotional journey on my Bengals -3.5 bet.

The Broncos probably should have given up 70 points in that game counting all of OT, some how get all the chances in the world to win (or tie) and can't figure out how to do it.

I said it last week, they aren't getting in the playoffs. They will figure out how to lose at home to the Chiefs' backups. Hell, the Chiefs may decide to really play.

ESPN’s Evil Irsays reporter wrote that the Irsays would be eliminated by a Chargers win. (The story made no mention of the Broncos.)
So now the Chargers have won and the NFL’s TV network says the Irsays are still “in the hunt.”

Four teams can tie at 9-8 and so the tiebreakers will be fun. I do believe that the Colts are still alive, but it is messy.

The Broncos don't make it in any scenario of a four-way tie. I think the Colts actually do if that happens, funny since that's the one team the Broncos beat.

Hot take - I’d rather have Burrow than Jackson as my QB.

If I were a Bills fan, I’d be very troubled by the thought of facing the Bengals. Nobody wants to see them.

I said it last week too, the Bengals are the anti-Chiefs. They have lost all these close games, but actually seem like a scary team. Amazing seven of their eight losses are one possession or less. And they generally have scored a ton of points.

Of course they did plenty tonight for those things to hold true with mistakes (not making two fourth downs/going for field goals, missing a short field goal, giving the Broncos too much time), but they certainly can beat a lot of teams and their offense is pretty great.

As a lifelong Bengals fan, I can say that was on the short list of the most Bengal games ever -- except actually a win.

But all it does is prolong the inevitable one more week, and make it all the more maddening that Zac Taylor-coached teams treat the first couple weeks of the season like extended preseason. Just beat the damn Patriots in Week 1 and this is a different story.
