Notre Dame is going to win that game, they'll shut down Georgia's backup QB. Then you can really watch him squirm.

    And hear him complain afterwards.

Seems like there were a lot more big plays this year, maybe because so many good defensive players were gone from each team.

Surprising amount of offense early — especially from Iowa.

    Let’s go Hawks! ;)

I'm not watching. Did they kick two field goals?

Left work a bit early (I’m in the Northwest) to watch the fourth quarter of the Music City Bowl … and of course, it’s all Mizzou.

In a nutshell: The Tigers have a QB who can throw and the Hawkeyes don’t.

Iowa can win two-thirds of its B1G games with a strong defense, run game and good punter. It takes a bit more than that to win in the SEC.

Wife and I are Iowa born-and-bred, daughter is a recent Mizzou grad.

Feel both torn and calm in that I can be happy no matter who wins. And I bet on Mizzou, so wouldn't hate that at all.

Not sure what the O/U was, but I bet it was less than 51.

ESPN says it closed at 41.5. Would have definitely picked the under going in.

Once they marked the Iowa receiver a half-yard short of the first down, it was game over.

Every single person who has watched a Hawkeye game over the past 45 years knew exactly what play, cadence and location was coming. So did Missouri — their defenders beat Iowa’s QB to the hole.

Somewhere Brian Ferentz is saying, “I could have called a better game than this.”

Overall, a season of underachievement in Iowa City.
