    There’s some big-league tackling going on in this Lions-Vikings game. After watching too many Giants and Jets games, I forgot some teams can actually play defense. At least as much as the rules allow.

    "There are some horrendous teams in the league right now."
    or
    "There is so much mediocrity in the league right now."

    If at any point in the league's 100 year history there are good teams, then there are going to have to be teams with bad records.
