    They can only do Zoom interviews of a lot of assistants right now. I'm fine with them taking more than a day to announce a new hire. Plus, the GM job might be in play.

    Did you hear that the Bears asked for permission to interview McCarthy?? Guy 3/4 of the way out the door and what 8 days left under his contract?? Watch, Bears are going to be the Bears and they'll offer a 5th rounder for the rights to McCarthy.

    Peg Bundy was not hot. Too over the top for me. Katey Sagal, on the other hand, was pretty fine.

    Shipping McCarthy off to the Bears instead of just frog-marching him out of The Star is too tidy for Jerry. He needs his perp walk.

    A more Jerry move would be to wait until the carousel stops spinning and then cut McCarthy loose, like he did with Garrett. That keeps him effectively out of the head coaching job market for a year.
