I had an aunt who married into the family who had Peg’s bitchiness (but not her sluttiness AFAIK). So that particular engine was never going to turn over for me.

As important an AFAIK as there’s ever been.

@dixiehack was a freshman at a major southeastern university when his aunt made him an offer he couldn't refuse...

Jerry is the kind of coach or boss you don’t want to work for: take the praise, deflect the blame.

Can interview for his current team's position next.

Maybe Brady can swing Vrabel to Vegas, if not I worry about who they will end up with. Davis has ADD. How many coaches is he still paying? My goodness.

Haha I was just thinking he's so dumb, he might interview and hire Josh McDaniels.

DAVIS: "Hey Josh, great to meet you, thanks for coming in for the interview."
MCDANIELS: "Holy shit, you really don't remember me?"
DAVIS: "No, I know you've done great work in New England but I've never met you before."
MCDANIELS: "I was your coach for a season-plus!"
DAVIS: "No, that was the Chucky guy."
MCDANIELS: "Alrighty then, I'l take six years at $60 million."
DAVIS: "Seems a little light for you, how about six years at $80 million?"

The Raiders are like the Jets. Until Mark Davis fires himself, they're going nowhere.

We could do the comparison thing all day, every day for weeks but Katey Sagal at 70 outshines Jennifer Coolidge at 61. I can be talked out of this, however. Y'all sent me down a rabbit hole I never thought would show up in a coaching carousel thread.

I almost wonder if Davis was waiting for Brady to get back to him to tell him what to do. Now if the Patriots canned Mayo thinking Vrabel was a lock and they don't get him, well that's just dumb.

    Which one's the 6?

I've always been a little surprised & impressed that Sagal, Ed O'Neill and Christiana Applegate were able to have really good careers post-MWC, b/c those one-note shows that last forever tend to make it really hard for their stars to do anything else. Look at the 90210 cast.

Those are three very talented actors, Segal especially.
