Fritz appears so tight out there at times and when he’s the higher seed (4!) oh man…..
Here’s hoping CoCo can pull it off but Sabalenka hits rifle shots from everywhere.

Swiatek has lost just three games in her past two matches, with two bagels.

At 5-5 in the first set, Gauff double-faults twice at deuce to lose the game. Bencic serves it out and Coco is down a set.

Coco has picked up her game and Bencic is fading Gauff won the second set 6-2 and is up a break in the third.

"Pretty fucking good" has a poor record in major semifinals. Andy Murray and David Ferrer were "pretty fucking good" too.

Djoker might slip in one more a la Tiger Woods but let's face it, it's over.

I don’t expect him to win any more majors, either, but he can make deep runs and he’s still better than Ferrer, to use one of your examples, ever was.

Djokovic is still one of the 10 best players on the planet. Your post made it sound like he’s out there embarrassing himself and should just retire now. Do you think he should retire?

Retire today, of course not. We can let the Grand Slam season play out and see what happens. He'll make the decision.

Don’t know if anyone else saw that point with Sinner just now but holy shit.

Was just coming here to post about this. Sinner and Rune in a tremendous battle here -- tied one set apiece -- but Sinner looks like he's about to keel over.
