The night might have ended worse for Illinois than it started.

Didn't score a point the rest of the way. Missed their final 18 shots (plus the front end of a one-and-one) and lost 79 - 65.

 

UConn goes into Columbia, S.C., where the Gamecocks had won 71 in a row . . . and wins by 29?

Saw this past week while scrolling through futures odds that South Carolina was -5000 to make the women's Final Four. They're currently at -1000, which is only slightly less insane.
