    They are posting the live odds during the Daytona 500. To bet any NASCAR race is foolish. There are too many variables. The only reason to bet an auto race is just to throw $5 at your favorite driver because you are a fan.

    I took the $70 cash from Byron's win and bought a year-long membership to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts today. Been meaning to do it anyway, but that gave me the shove I needed.

    Just here sweating out the last minutes of stoppage time in West Brom-Oxford, as one does on a Saturday morning. Took Notts County ML (squeaked by 2-1), Lille-Monaco BTTS (hit by halftime) and West Brom ML at +290.

    EDIT: Phew. West Brom pots one 12 minutes into nine minutes of stoppage time to go up 2-0. I'll take a happy little win on this lovely Saturday.
