Maybe I won a little scratch on the Yale-Dartmouth under. Maybe I put some more on the Akron-Kent under at half. Maybe I’m sick.
You win. All I can counter with is that my baseball parlay was paid for with profits from that Lakers-Mavs game from Monday that I unknowingly bet on two weeks prior; which was paid for with winnings from the Super Bowl; which I think was paid for, in part, from NFL playoff games. I also did a basketball three-teamer tonight that won, so I'll probably put some of that money on something else next week. My college baseball parlay didn't get home, which really sucks. It was a $5 funsies bet that would've paid $100. Got four of the five legs and Southern Miss (+1.5 at TCU, lost 5-2) screwed me. At least their basketball team stinking it up this season got me the consolation prize.
If you want a college basketball dumpster dive on Saturday, consider Mississippi Valley State +8.5 at home vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The two teams are a combined 8-48, and 16 of Valley's 25 losses have been by 29+ points. However, one of Valley's three wins was against UAPB. At a healthy +8.5, against an equally dreadful team, that's rather tempting.
I've been keeping an eye on Valley and UAPB the last couple of weeks since I'm in SWAC country. Awful teams at the end of the season are always good betting opportunities, no matter the sport. Hit a two-teamer betting against both of them a week or two ago.
Maybe we go to the Patriot League today? Colgate being favored by 4.5 at home against American seems a touch heavy.
