The Chiefs and Bengals are the only teams that have used the franchise tag. That’s odd.

    Thuney traded to the Bears.

Feels odd, considering what a (relative) dumpster fire the Chiefs' offensive line has been. Making it worse than it was feels like a curious strategy.

I'll stop scratching my head while shaking it when they upgrade the tackles.
FWIW, Chiefs got a fourth-rounder next year.

Priority has to be the tackles. With Humphrey and Smith inside, you can find a guard anytime.

If your right tackle is a turnstile even while given carte blanche to false start, there might be a problem

Yes, they were being killed by the outside rushers, mostly.

Sounds like a shakeup to Seattle’s wide receiver room. Tyler Lockett has been released (not too surprising) and DK Metcalf is demanding to be traded, the Seattle Times reports.

Metcalf to the Packers, right? If rumors I read yesterday have any merit.

He’s been hurt a bunch in the last few seasons. Still, he’ll get picked up by some team.
