Not every year … Saint Mary’s has held its own of late, and won both regular season games convincingly this year. No 3-pointers and 16 turnovers, the Gaels aren’t beating anyone with numbers like that.
Sports-reference.com's college hoops site isn't always reliable, but it says this is the second game this season in which both teams shot < 10% from 3. Other: K State and Arizona on Feb. 11.
One of the biggest, most fraudulent assholes in sports, and that's really saying something. He'll eventually drive the Big 12 into the ground.
Checking ESPN.com's schedule, and note that for today's games in the Big 10 and ACC conference tourneys, tickets are available for as low as $2!!!
I'm too lazy to go and link the ticky tack foul that ended the Pitt-Notre Dame game yesterday, a foul that wasn't a foul, but I'm glad it happened, because it put this team and its coach out of its misery. Pitt started 12-2 and ended the year 17-15. Happy for Robert Morris though.
That was a totally BS, phantom call. And it hurts Carolina because beating ND is a Quad 3 win; beating Pitt (not guarantee) would have been Quad 2. I too am glad for RMU. It's better for conferences like the Horizon when the best team wins and gets the bid and had at least an outside shot of earning a second tournament unit.
