if you're single and even halfway tempted to apply for this job, do it. i've never been to maui, but i took a similar post at this shop a little more than a year ago only to turn it down two days later. brad and staff mad me feel at ease about the move and offered to help with any adjustements...

i agree as well. consider that during a recent training session I asked my instructor if she subscribed to our local 10K paper or the big bad 100K metro. she said there was no need to subscribe to get the local content when she could read it for free on the web. she still got the metro because...

just curious if anyone knows what this might pay? looks like there's about 10 weeklies so that's a lot of youngns to be steering in the right direction if the money ain't great. and don't even get me started on the mosquitos in h-town.

...and most of the talent they hire away ends up blogging or working as an expert on the site using their former newspapers sources to get the meat in their stories. in my opinion, the ESPN brand has single-handidly ruined sports and sports journalism over the last fives years.

how long have you used the vivitar? i tried this for about a year with the same camera and simliar flash and eventually burned out my flash. by the nikon flash ($200-$300) used and you'll see a world of difference in your pics.
